Financial Planning is an ongoing process that can be broken down into the following steps:
Discovery Meeting
Allows us to get a broad understanding of what you are seeking to achieve and the type of advice you require. Your first meeting is about getting to know each other. At this meeting you will get broad outlines of some of the strategies that may work for you; in addition, you will get details of the future costs.
Fact Finding
We will do our best to understand your thoughts, feelings and previous investment experience to complete a risk tolerance analysis, specific to your situation.
Planning & Strategy
Using the information gathered in our earlier meeting/s, we will test various strategies before constructing your formal statement of advice document.
Presenting your Advice
Your statement of advice will be tailored to your specific needs, goals and objectives. Our recommendations will seek to provide solutions in order to meet those objectives.
Implementing the Recommendations
Once you are comfortable with our recommendations, they will be put into action. This may require completing forms, commencing new investments and/or insurances, etc. We will help you through this process and ensure your implementation is followed through.
Post Implementation
Once your plan is implemented, we will meet with you again to ensure everything is operating as expected. If need be, we can make any adjustments at that time. It is important that you understand how your plan works and we are happy to talk this through until you are comfortable.
Reviewing
Following implementation, we will agree on the level of ongoing support necessary to maintain your strategy. It is then our expectation to meet with you to monitor and adjust your strategy where necessary as your personal circumstances, goals or objectives change.
